CORY REAL ESTATE has an exceptional marketing program that includes a professional virtual tour, professional photos, advertising in the Midwest Real Estate Data LLC Multiple Listing Service (MRED MLS), Internet advertising, and email advertising.
VIRTUAL TOUR/PHOTOS
An exceptional marketing program starts with a professional virtual tour and professional photos that can engage buyers and emotionally attach them to a home. CORY REAL ESTATEenlists the services of Visual Home Tours (VHT) to provide a virtual tour and photos for our listings. VHT is a visual marketing services company that specializes in real estate photography.
CORY REAL ESTATEalso provides sellers with a virtual tour DVD and photos so that memories of their home remain just as fresh in their minds in the future as it did the day it was sold. A DVD can be played on a television or a computer. Click on the links below to view samples from the VHT website.
MLS
The MLS is at the core of the CORY REAL ESTATE Marketing Program. The MLS is the only database that buyer agents use when searching for homes that meet the specific requirements of their clients. The MLS is also the only database that a seller’s real estate agent will use to advertise the seller’s home to agents that are representing buyers. Equally as important, the MLS is where seller agents advertise how much will be paid to the brokerage company whose agent produces the buyer for the seller's home. It is the amount to be paid to the brokerage company, at least 50% of which the buyer agent will receive, that motivates buyer agents to bring their clients to a seller’s home for a showing.
On July 18, 2009, the MRED MLS had 41,655 subscribers, the vast majority of which were real estate agents. There is no amount of Internet or newspaper advertising that can compete with the MLS when it comes to getting the details and images of a seller’s home in front of real estate agents that are representing buyers. It is for this reason that real estate agents subscribe to the MLS, and it is also the reason why real estate agents are much more successful in selling homes than those who attempt to sell their home without the assistance of a real estate agent.
Internet
Buyers frequently use the Internet in search of their dream home, even if they are working with a real estate agent. Internet advertising allows for detailed property descriptions, a virtual tour, and photos.
CORY REAL ESTATE participates in the MRED Broker Reciprocity Program. Sellers benefit from our participation because buyers are able to view the property description, virtual tour, and photos of a seller’s home after executing a MLS search from websites that belong to real estate companies and real estate agents that are also participants of the program.

EMAIL FLYERS
CORY REAL ESTATEwill send three email flyers to all Cook County and Will County real estate agents who subscribe to the MRED MLS. These flyers can be any combination of “Just Listed”, “Price Reduction” or “Open House”.
In the event of a price reduction or in the case of multiple price reductions, CORY REAL ESTATE will send a price reduction flyer to all real estate agents that have brought a client to a seller’s home for a showing. Price Reduction Flyers will generate requests for another showing by those buyers that feel the home is now at a price they can afford and by those who had previously considered the home over-priced.
